Jacqueline-C21030ParticipantI have also heard black people wonder why white people walk around with goofy grins on their faces all the time. I think its a cultural thing. White people are raised to put on a happy face and give the outward appearance of friendliness. So when they interact with black people who don’t wear the goofy grins, they may assume the person is mad or unfriendly – esspecially if they are already uncomfortable, self-concious or afraid of being mistaken for a racist.
