Good question. I have no doubt that many Asian American (‘AsAm’) men find African American (‘AfAm’)women attractive – I do. I think that the reason we see few pairings of the kind you mention is that very often their social circles do not intersect. Perhaps there is a belief that they share little in common apart from possible physical attraction. I also think that AsAm men and AfAm women do not often entertain dating because they are not confronted with examples or models to follow. Once a critical mass of these pairings happens, which will require time, I think you’ll see an exponential growth in their occurrence. Just like AfAm men and white women now. My question back to you is this: I see many AfAm men dating outside their race. Has this caused you or AfAm women in general to consider following suit?
