Mind, now, this is just how I understand it. To think about gay marrige, one must think about gay people and gay life. Some people are afraid for there children, because they still believe the sterotype that gay is synonymous with ‘can’t keep their hands to themselves'(I balme the media for this. Every time a male teacher sexually abuses a male child, the words ‘homosexual’ and ‘molester’ are tied together in big letters above the fold. If that same male teacher abused a female child, the words ‘heterosexual pedophile’ would not be used at all. Just ‘child abuse’. If that.) Also, when a straight man thinks about about gay people in general, after going along the lines of soft-core-anime-lesbian-porn-etc, he will be forced ponder the concept of the gay man. Which will lead to the thought of what gay men do to eachother. And when yout hink of what other people do to each other, they think of themselves doing it. And most (illogical) straight men don’t like that thought. It gets them pissed off-because they thinks its disgusting, and they wouldn’t do it, and therefore anyone who would deserves none of his support in any way, shape or form.
