To me, compassion and a grip on reality have little to do with economics status. Poor people can resent rich people, or be their friend. Rich people can look down on poor people, or be their friend. How you will view the world and other people is a personal choice that is separate from economic status. Compassion, consideration, and the willingness to see the world from others’ points of view are what make us real and genuine people, not wealth or even life experience.
