White people don’t necessarily have flat/small butts. I live in New York and see many white girls with big butts and many black girls with flat butts – it depends more on the overall build. My friend (who is black) is very petite and has no butt, but I am ‘thicker’ and have a huge butt. I have to agree with the comment that social class is somewhat a determining factor of butt size and preference – in a predominantly white school, the richer kids were usually thinner (with smaller builds), and the poorer kids (such as my family) were usually thicker (with larger builds). Fashion also determines what is considered attractive – look at Marilyn Monroe, Briget Ekberg and all the Hollywood icons; they are all size 9 plus with big butts, and are very voluptuous. I just think it’s f***ed up to be angry at a group that admires features you may not possess.
