[Hoody]

As a white female with ‘pointy’ nipples and breasts, the only images I had growing up similar to myself were of ‘natives’ in National Geographic–never mainstream images. Even now, only fetishized versions of my body appear, especially when combined with a healthy posterior. Indeed, the black men in my school admired my figure long before others (thank you boys for the hope!) My shape gave me an early self-consciousness, but I believe ultimately it made me accept, and even appreciate, different body images.
