Heather21487ParticipantI think Canada is a lot like the states, so I’ll try and help you. I’m 13, have cerebral palsy and am in a walker, and I go to a ‘normal’ school. Many people stare, just like in any country. I think it would be best if you wore a prosthetic leg in the United States. If you don’t want to, don’t. Who cares if they stare? It’s your life. Make your own decisions about getting around, be it by wheelchair, crutches, canes, a walker or prosthetics.
