HallieMemberI don’t believe that simply being a vegetarian will get rid of body odor. I’ve been an lacto-ovo-vegan all my life, and I (unfortunately) can assure you that I still need my deodorant, more or less the same as carnivores. Body odor is natural human musk. Certain groups of people (such as Americans) find that smell repugnant, while others consider it a turn-on. As far as race goes, I don’t think that has much to do with body odor.

HallieMemberMy guess is that there are more available white men in your area than there are black or Asian men, and that’s why most of your boyfriends have been white. Wenatchee, Wash., doesn’t exactly sound like a melting pot (such as New York or San Francisco) to me. Let’s remember that the majority of America is white. You don’t have to pair up with someone with a racial background identical to your own.

HallieMemberApparently, it’s not just Asians. It also occurs among South American Hispanics, and whites. My brother and my mother had the blue marks, and they’re both Caucasian.
