It seems to me that Czechoslovakia produces more than its fair share of literary and artistic geniuses- Franz Kafka, Dvorak, etc. Eastern European men in general have a reputation for being brilliant and moody. Eastern European women are thought of as being dark-haired, plump, matronly, traditional, and a little hairy by American standards.
