A friend of mine has a condition that means he will go blind, and his sight is already failing. He is therefore doing all the things he wants to do before his sight goes completely. He’s a fan of extreme sports, so he’s got to try them before his sight goes or he can’t do most of them. He’s done loads and is loving every minute. The more extreme the disability, of course, the less you can do. But as someone has already pointed out, you make the most of what you can do.
