There’s only one way to find out – just ask her! Be respectful and relaxed about it (or at least act relaxed). Tell her what you told us: That you noticed signs she might have a female partner, and you were wondering if that was the case. Most likely she’ll be relieved to not have to bring it up herself, or at worst, she’ll be incredulous that you ever thought such a thing about her. But I wish my parents had asked me.
