I think for you to have ‘proof’ that G-d exists, then you need to open your mind, pray diligently and sincerely, study the Torah and reevaluate your belief when your prayers have been answered and you have begun to see the wisdom of the Torah (effectively G-d’s code for life) in the way it relates to this modern-day world. Careful study of the Torah reveals so much of the ‘proof’ of G-d’s existence because it offers advice and guidance on every aspect of life with incredible insight into issues. It was written so long ago yet still is so pertinent to today, i.e. if you follow the mitzvot you will essentially live a rewarding life, avoiding many of today’s hazards. Who could give so much wisdom? Only a being with infinite wisdom – not a human characteristic, this can only come from a being greater than humans, i.e. G-d.
