I do not take issue with the fact that I am not allowed to be drafted. Furthermore, I may be considered backward for this opinion, but I do not feel it is my duty to fight as my husband would. I feel that I would best serve my country at home. I do not believe that women are similarly equipped for battle. For example,the military has had to change its directives on carrying a stretcher with a person on it from the original ‘2’ people to ‘4’ to accommodate women because we are generally not strong enough to carry it with just two of us.
