Do not make statements off the cuff about what the word of God says, I’ve included a couple of verses, their from the KJV however they are very similar in the Catholic Bible which I just don’t have handy at the moment. Mary was obviously blessed by God to be considered worthy to bear Christ, but that does not come close to elevating her to a level comparable to the One and Only Son of God!! Not to mention that praying to saints is also unscriptural, but that’s for another time. Rom 8:34 Who [is] he that condemneth? [It is] Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us. Heb 12:2 Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of [our] faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.
