Catholics should vote for the candidate that best mirrors their belief system. By not doing so, they risk losing their good standing in the church.

Yes, Catholics are Christian. We accept Jesus at Baptism, First Holy Communion, Conformation, and through the other four Sacraments. We receive the Lord Jesus every time we receive the Eucharist(John6:22-71). You didn’t ask, but we are a Bible based religion also. At Mass we read four Scriptures and then are given a homily from our Priests in reference to the readings. If you go to Mass every day for three years you will have read the entire Bible. I don’t believe other religions can say the same. Without the Catholic Church, the Bible as we know it would not even exist! The bible you study, no matter what version, has it’s roots in Catholicism. Are we saved? We were never lost!

As a Catholic, I ‘adore’ Mary as I would my own mother. We pray to Mary to ask for her help and intercession, along with our prayers to Jesus. If your mother asked something of you, would you do it? Don’t you think Jesus would do the same? Rev. 5:8 speaks of the saints prayng for us, if they pray on our behalf, why wouldn’t Mary? Mary is mentioned in Rev 12:1-6 and also in Gen. 3:15.
