Perhaps when someone offends you, you notice it more if they happen to be a minority, and then take note of the fact that they are a minority. For example, if someone was cut off on the 405 by someone of the same race, they’d scream ‘you jerk!’. But if that same person was cut off by a Latino driver in the exact same manner, and they scream ‘you should be deported, you jerk!’, then they are in error. For every minority person that does a number over on you, there’s a white person out there who would do the same, no better or worse.
