TO EM (Original Archives): I’m not sure where you got the idea that urinary tract infections are non-existent in circumcised males, but that’s absolutely not true. Circumcised males are perfectly susceptible to this type of infection and do commonly suffer from it. While you are correct that the rate is higher for uncircumcised males, it is usually an indication the male does not know how to properly clean his penis. UTI’s in uncircumcised men can be prevented through conscientious cleanliness, which all men should observe, anyway.
