Religion is a powerful message. Many men and women deny their sexual orientation and marry to ‘hide’ their true desire. This is unfair to their partners and children, not to mention themselves. None the less, it appears to be more apparent in those religions that have the worst records for understanding and creating a warm acceptance of diversity.
