Luther, while I appreciate your recognition and subsequent fear of ‘others doing unto you as you have done unto them’, I think it’s a little naive to think that blacks will ‘rule’ the US. The concept of true democracy is an IDEAL philosophy but mechanisms have already been put into place to prevent such a major shift in ‘real’ power for eons. Just because we OUTNUMBER doesn’t mean we wield the political or economic sword needed to take control. When(IF) blacks (or any other race for that matter) outnumber whites 2 to 1 in the US and they have power equal to what is being practiced by whites now, I believe the dynamics of our society will be such that retribution and/or revenge will not be the focus. I think our citizens will have a true ‘American’ focus rather than an us versus them mentality. At least that is my hope!
