In Vermont, we are starting to see more and more of this. It has been my observation that this occurs mostly among women, although I have seen some men showing public displays of affection. As you may know, Vermont was the first state to legally recognize gay unions. While many in Vermont opposed this, they couldn’ t get enough support to overturn it. The world is changing, albeit slowly.
