BertoParticipantHonestly, I’m not exactly sure how to answer this question (for myself, that is.) I am ambivalent about women. I don’t have any female friends and don’t really feel I have very much in common with women. I oftentimes feel like I don’t understand women. And, I’ve very rarely met women who I feel understand gay men. All too often (at least in my experience), I have felt as if I was some type of gay ‘pet’ for women; they always seemed so amused by gayness. Often, some women would assume that there was a ‘sisterly’ bond between us because we both liked men when in fact, we had very little in common. I’ve also simply always had an affinity for men in all respects, not just with regard to sexual attraction. I guess my answer is, I don’t hate you, but I will acknowledge that I don’t understand you.
