I saw some statistics recently that said that 62% of women masturbate and 92% of men (the percentage of women is higher, incidently, than it was a few decades ago, suggesting that women are increasingly trying masturbation). I know plenty of girls who masturbate (including myself), and I’ve also met men who felt it was disgusting. While masturbation still seems to be more accepted among men, it is becoming increasingly accepted among women. I think the negative attitudes of some people toward masturbation have less to do with their gender than with their personal feelings on the subject.
