BDAParticipantI made my choice when I found out the workings of the ‘human jig-saw puzzle’. I firmly believe that it is unnatural for a man to be with a man, or a woman to be with a woman. Notice, I say ‘unnatural’ as apposed to ‘unbiblical’. Regardless of religious belief in any way, nowhere in nature is homosexual behavior practiced. Therefore, homosexual behavior must entail some sort of higher-level decision making ability, as seen only in humans. The only other option would be some sort of chemical imbalance in the brain. And, since no scientist/biologist/doctor has found any such imbalance in the chemistry of a homosexual’s brain, I cannot subscribe to such a notion. My perplexion comes from: Why do gays, lesbians, and bisexuals refuse to accept the idea of their making a decision to go against the norm, thereby causing great personal jeopardy, when, if the same consequences were implied to any other decision, one would be heralded in our society as a innovator or great person for making such a decision? *EDITOR: I REALIZE THAT THE PRECEDING SENTENCE MAY BE A RUN-ON, BUT I COULD NOT FIND A PLACE TO BREAK IT. FEEL FREE TO CHANGE THE PUNCTUATION, BUT PLEASE, BY ALL MEANS KEEP THE MEANING AND WORDING.* While my belief system tells me the practice of homosexuality is wrong, I do not believe the people who do so are wrong. I simply believe that the people who proclaim themselves as homosexual are not in tune with my belief system as I interpret it. Never will I condemn a person for their choices, but always will I be sure that they understand my side of the coin. I think those who are attacking Monique for her views should, pehaps, follow suit.
