Mormons believe in both heaven and hell, but not in the traditional manner of floating around with wings or burning in eternal flames. We believe the afterlife is a continuation and a reward for what we do here. We put a high priority on knowledge and education as that is the only thing we take with us. Eternal progression is a key concept. We can continue to grow and progress in knowledge and power as long as we do the things that God asks us to do. OBedience to the commandments is important.
