I believe that if you were raised to know the difference between TV/movies/games etc. and reality, then you’re OK. I think parents should take more responsibility in explaining the world to their children at a young age. Even though this may expose the child at an early age, they are much more ready for reality when it hits them. Ignorance has a lot to do with it. When you raise a child to adopt certain morals, they will. When they reach the age to make decisions on their own, they’ll be much better off.
