I’m Asian and to be honest, I get EXTREMELY annoyed by people who intentionally walk in my path. I’m a fairly small woman (remember that the zone of “personal space” is greater for smaller people), an it extremely frustrates me when people get too close. The rule of thumb is, you walk on your right side and the people walking in the opposite direction walk on their right (your left). It seems that you have the same problem I do and expect the other to move. I admit lots of Asians do this (older) as in Asian countries are used to walking close to people because its heavily populated, but I’m a national and I won’t move mainly because I’m sick of people who don’t know how to walk on the sidewalk. STAY YOUR OWN SIDE@@

I wouldn’t say Asians are the most desirable because I’m finding a lot of men are starting to prefer the darker “exotic” look. However, I’d have to say at least in Asians, the most beautiful women or those on television or magazines have more stereotypically Caucasian features. Whats Caucasian? I remember when I was a kid, my aunts would rave about how white women are tall (5’7+), they have long legs, they’re thinner built whereas us Asians are stereotypically shorter, stout, stocky, shorter legs which we hate. Tall nose, big bright eyes, those are all traits I guess my culture associates with Whites whereas most Asian girls are shorter (5’0-5’5), shorter legs, stout, stocky, you get the ide.

One word, genetics. The average height is generally getting taller (for example, average height for females in South Korea is 5’4 and 5’8 for men) but in the younger generation, you will see girls who are 5’7 and guys who are 6’1 everywhere. I’m 5’5 which is I feel is quite normal between other Asian girls, but when I’m with my white girlfriends who are like 5’7-5’10 it really sucks!

I REALLY hate to say this because it makes me look bad but I might as well be truthful. The ONLY reason I prefer to date White guys is strictly physical, if it was about the personality I would date Asians because some Asian guys are some of the most nurturing men I know! Lots of white guys are 6’0+, long, lean statuesque builds, sharp angular features with prominent jaw/chin, long masculine noses, the problem with a lot of Asian men is that they have more feminine childlike features which isn’t what women universally don’t like (the Asian guys I’ve ever been physically attrcted to had more Caucasian features). To answer your question, its not that we want to be white women, but rather its strictly physical attraction. A lot of my other Asian girlfriends have said the same thing, its strictly physical.
