I can only speak for myself, but I do wash my body every day, unless I’m travelling and don’t have access to a shower, or don’t have access to hot water (I’ve travelled a bit in developing world). In those situations, I will wash my hair if possible, but I won’t consider myself to be ‘clean.’ I’ll feel less gross as my hair will not be oily and my scalp will not start to itch. For me, it’s a comfort issue and certainly not a matter of thinking that I’m clean bc my hair is washed. Also, I’m more presentable if my hair has been washed and I’ll feel better about how I look.
