    My husband just left the Air Force, and I have had a less than desirable roommate. We think the advice you’ve gotten so far is wrong–a person shouldn’t have to live like that, and there is every possibility these women could seriously hurt your daughter. Who cares if these women think your daughter isn’t tough? My husband says, she should try to change rooms, see Social Actions, and write your congressman (he says a parent complaining about a child’s treatment in the military will get someone’s attention, but he advises against mentioning that these women are black, just tell of their behavior). My advice is, if all this doesn’t work, try to find some better roommates to live off base with, whether they be from the Air Force or just local college students.
