Did anyone know that bigger (yes, they are louder) exhaust equals more horsepower (2-3 to the wheel). That’s the reason most people get them, not because they want to be loud and get attention. Modifying your car is all about making it unique (and fast). This issue has nothing to do with age, but rather with passion. How many 50-year-old men and women are driving around in Corvettes or Vipers? They share the same passion for speed as teens with imports. As for the amps and systems, it just gives the music so much more power. When you hear your favorite song I guarantee you will crank it up and sing (if there are lyrics) your heart out. If you don’t like their music, who cares, they probably don’t like yours, either.
