ACC24012ParticipantIf you reread my question, I compared the genre to other faith-based music, not secular music. I have heard the artists you list, and I consider them examples of the faults I described. Part of this may simply be differences in taste, but frankly I don’t hear anywhere near the level of emotion in Christian rock that I hear in other faith-based music. I also hear a lot of trite lyrics and copy-cat musical styles. I speculate this might be because of their comfortable or sheltered backgrounds. Do you or anyone else agree or disagree?
