EmmaParticipantI don’t mean to be stereotypical, but whenever I hear about or see white Americans, they all seem to be fanatical about God and Christianity. I saw a survey on an American asking what should be taught in school, Creation or Evolution, and the majority said Creation. I’m sorry if I’ve offended anyone because I don’t mean to, I just wondered if all American Christians are like this!

ShirleyAveryParticipantChristian fanaticism is not limited to whites, nor to all Americans. I’m Jewish and believe in strict separation of religion and government, which includes public education. AS another person on YForum suggested, Darwinism should be taught in biology classes while creationism can be taught in churches or theology classes. It’s ridiculous to teach creationism in a science class. Faith does not rely on facts. It’s a matter of the heart, but that’s not science. Just Curious
