why is it assumed that certain races or ethnicities smell certain ways? for example, there is a certain ‘smell’ associated with mexicans, my friend claims she can smell one when they get on the train, even before she looks at them to know their ethnicity. (to be honest, i’ve noticed it, myself). would anyone like to comment on actual scientific fact of this phenomenon?
