i think white people need to understand that while the legal ownership of my ancestors to your ancestors may have only been held by a few.the economic system of the whole country was dependent on the enslavement of my ancestors and the profit that bought.the south was king of cotton selling their shackled goods to the other european powers for a profit this business provided work for shippers ,traders,bankers,and the agricultural slave owners themselves. the keeping of slaves maintained polices all over the south and a bounty hunter system in the north.so even though the whole white populace didn’t own slaves they were supported by what it brought the national white community and they all condoned it but in doing so brought the rightful persecution of all whites by my people.remember new yok had ceded with the confederacy originally and their primary economy was shipping and banking and trading.
