EJParticipantWhy do we need all the credits to get out of school? If we know most of the work y do we need little papers that say we pass?

ShirleyAveryParticipantIf you know most of the material, you can take advanced placement tests to prove it so you glide on to college or you can take GED tests to prove it and get a HS equivalency degree. If you only think you know all that stuff, well… Just Curious

DotParticipantAnd bitching that you can’t afford to raise a family or have a decent life on minimum wage. Some jobs aren’t meant to be careers. They are for students, part timers and the elderly to make a few extra bucks. If you want to earn a real living, you will need some form of higher education, and you can’t even get into vocational training without a GED. Why set your goals so low? It’s sad.
