I am sorry the black people were brought over here and used as slaves. However, this is not the first time a conquered people have been used as slaves. Right? It’s happened all through history. I don’t recall any other group’s descendants being paid off for suffering of their ancestors. It was their black brothers that dragged them out of the jungle and sold them. When they were freed they could have returned to Africa if they wanted. If they are honest they are probably better off then the ones left behind in the homeland. So why don’t they get over it and just make the best life now. Stop crying over the past. Some of us white folks don’t have it made either. No one alive today owned slaves. And none of the black people here now were slaves. No one but the good old USA wins a war and then builds up the people that lost. Giving money to anyone now is useless it won’t help the unfortunates that were dragged here. Inhumanity to man has been happening for ages and no one’s been paid for their hurts.
