Being born and raised in Philly, I’m always around blacks/hispanics, and I’ve got alot of black and hispanic friends. Me, I’m as white as they come. I’m not racist at all, I’m probably the complete opposite. But here’s my question. Why is it okay for there to be ‘Puerto Rican Princess’ shirts, bumper stickers, etc. but it would be considered racist if I wore a ‘white princess’ shirt (not that I would…lol)? Just certain racial pride things are everywhere — clothes, keychains, bumper stickers, etc. I can assure you that if I had a bumper sticker that said ‘proud to be white’ than I would be considered a racist. Why is this?
