Old people, like young people, middle aged people, and all the people in between, like to talk about the things they, personally, find interesting. I know lots of old people – my grandkids think I *am* an old person – and none of us golf, so none of us ever discuss it. It seems to me that you happen to know a lot of old people who are avid golfers; that’s all.
