AaronParticipantI have been dating this girl I met at work since the beginning of last summer, and I’m having a hard time getting her to commit. We act like a couple and have talked to each other pretty much daily for the last 5 or 6 months. We made ourselves an exclusive couple for about 4 days and then she got cold feet and called things off. She said at that time that she only thought of me as a friend, but I’ve gotten her to admit that it was a lie. She says she wishes she would have dated me in the first place, but says a relationship isn’t what she wants right now. I’m open with her (girls like that, right?), and I can’t get her to tell me anything that I don’t think is bullshit. So here’s my question now that you know what context I’m coming from. Is this a typical problem that a girl would have and a guy has no power over? or is it an issue that women have with men? does anyone have any personal examples of this i can learn from?
