Why do pharmaceutical companies continue to sell their brand-name drug if pharmacies automatically change a prescribed brand-name drug to a generic drug when they fill the prescription? Case in point: A physician whom I visit now and then prescribes Coumadin, but my pharmacy always gives me Warfarin instead. F. Forest Trowbridge
