SaraMemberWould it ever be possible for a effeminate gay and a masculine lesbian to fall in love? Or the other way around?

Ann L. LowensteinParticipantIt’s hard to say, but gay men are just not sexually attracted to women, no matter how butch they may be… And vice versa… Visual as humans are, there’s a growing body of evidence that it’s got to do with pheromones, which are scent cues we all give off, and which until fairly recently, it wasn’t thought humans could detect at all. The butchest lesbian is still female, and still gvies off female pheromones, and the reverse is true with the most effeminate gay, so probably not, but love is a crazy thing, and you can never tell. BadKarma!

GordonRMemberLet’s see: Since gay men normally form romantic attachments to men and not women, and since lesbians are women and not men, it follows that, no, gay men do not normally form romantic attachments to lesbians. Similar logic can be used to determine that, no, lesbians do not normally form romantic attachments to gay men.
