I think a centrist is someone who is neither a left or right (liberal or conservative) extremist, perhaps an independent voter who judges each issue on its own merit rather than having a kneejerk response based on ideology — or perhaps someone who is conservative on some issues & liberal on others. Does that sound about right? Just Curious
