When one begins to attempt to explain behavior by citing history or race, your going down a dangerous path of thinking. An example of this would be a discussion between Middle-Eastern Muslims about why Americans need to be killed. They could say that we need to be taught a lesson about respecting other cultures, because if not they might end up massacred like the Native-Americans. They might say, it’s another bloody wave of Manifest Destiny, that needs to be defended against , cuz after all thats all the whiteys know how to do is steal.
