Women sit down when they urniate and defecate. It’s natural to release gas while sitting on the toilet. Since men pee standing up, they are not ‘in the position’ to fart as freely. I think that’s why they have more built up to come out in possible public situations. My mom was a southern belle who trained me never to ‘expel gas’ except in the bathroom.
