I am a late-20s professional. I have quirks, but the most problematic one is that I am concerned about women who would ‘settle’ for me. My question: is it true that younger women or divorced women (with no desire to remarry) only want short-term sex-driven relationships with men of no substance, and then once older, think about stability with a less-physically attractive but financially secure, mature man? I always interpret this as ‘settling’ for someone you do not really want. I find it difficult to cope with, because I want to be desired by my mate. I realize this is a generalization, and that one woman cannot speak for all, but could you ladies shed some light on this concern?
