I often hear black (and sometimes) hispanic women complaining that only white females are portrayed as beautiful – especially Northern European-looking women. I am a blonde-haired, blue-eyed, voluptuous female and I hate my likeness being used to sell cars, beer, underwear etc because it portrays me as a sexual object, not an equal human being with intellect, character etc. So, why would women of other races want to be subject to such objectification?? I’m confused.
