Living in Los Angeles, I feel that white beauty is a bit overwhelming. Being gay and Asian, I find that the majority of Americans see Asian men as effeminate or simply ‘not manly’ or attractive enough. Is this only in LA, or is it universal? Why is this the case? What are stereotypes associated with Asian men?
