When I read the Yforum every week, I read so many questions which point out perceived ‘differences’ between white and black Americans, which to me seem very trivial. Why? Is it that you are all incredibly ignorant of each other? Is it that you are eager to point out the tiniest differences between white and black ways of doing, thinking and seeing things as majorly different? Or is it something else? Can someone explain to this Australian girl why black and white Americans seem to know so little about each other?
