Many people are finding love with individuals outside their religion and marrying. How are they dealing with selecting a religion for their children?

I was born into the Catholic chruch and my wife was a Methodist. In my teens I realized that I don’t have a spiritual bone in my body. At the time we were married, I considered myself Agnostic and my wife was a practicing Methodist although not that into it. Over the years my wife has gotten more involved in religion and I have not. When the kids came along, she took them to church with her and they are both very much involved in their church. In fact, my son is considering a career as a minister. If there is a God, he seems to have an ironic sense of humor. Our differences in religion have not caused much of problem. Even though I simply don’t understand the attractiveness of religion, my wife and children seem to get some value and comfort from it. The only problem we have had is that they sometimes worry about the fate of my soul.
