I was curious if it is a common thing in the black community to be offended by being compared to a white person. I overheard a black girl saying how offended she was by the fact that someone said she acts like a white girl. I realize one could say anyone would be offended by being compared to something they’re not, but if you think about it you’re only offended when you’re being compared to something you perceive to be bad. Would a typical black person find it offensive if someone was saying how offended they were when they were compared to a black person?
