Why are white women considered the most desirable by men of all ethnicities? In almost 95 percent of the commercials from everything to weight loss to feminine hygiene, the people in the commercials are in white women. Are white women believed to have all the problems and dilemmas of the world? Don’t women of other races deal with them as well?

You mean tall, thin, blonde, white females. I don’t see too many darker-haired white girls or even redheads on television. At least not those who’re considereed desirable.

Historically whites have been the ruling class. To gain the affection of a white woman would often raise the social standing of the ethnic male, the idea being that there must be something extraordinary about him that would attract and hold a high-status female. White women, as often as not, have been desired for what we represent as much as our appearance. of course I could be wrong and it *could* be that men just like the way white women look. There have been studies to classify the traits that contribute to being considered “attractive”. Almost universally, men chose traits that could be considered “child-like”. Large eyes, small noses, pink bow-like lips, etc. These physical traits tend to show up more often in caucasions than other groups.

Uhhhh…… What? Just because people in commercials are whit doesn’t mean they are considered most desirable. Maybe they were the only ones that auditioned, or maybe they were the best, or maybe the director/casting person, was a racist, but that doesn’t mean that white women are most desirable.

the reason they MAY BE most desired is because they are THE DUMBEST FEMALES around!

I wouldn’t say Asians are the most desirable because I’m finding a lot of men are starting to prefer the darker “exotic” look. However, I’d have to say at least in Asians, the most beautiful women or those on television or magazines have more stereotypically Caucasian features. Whats Caucasian? I remember when I was a kid, my aunts would rave about how white women are tall (5’7+), they have long legs, they’re thinner built whereas us Asians are stereotypically shorter, stout, stocky, shorter legs which we hate. Tall nose, big bright eyes, those are all traits I guess my culture associates with Whites whereas most Asian girls are shorter (5’0-5’5), shorter legs, stout, stocky, you get the ide.
